The Cleft Edit

The Cleft Edit is a spaghetti strap maxi dress built around three construction decisions that work together: ruching that shapes the body, a ruffled asymmetric hem that breaks the silhouette, and a slit that opens it. The asymmetric hem falls unevenly by design — one side longer, one side shorter, the ruffle catching movement as you walk. The slit opens at the leg and makes the whole thing feel less like a dress and more like a statement. Spaghetti straps keep it minimal at the top.
